might be a repost or something, but i say it anyway.

i looked up the part numbers in some books at work...
everything is the same for the two racks, except for the input shaft length.
2whl-1 5/16"
4whl-1 1/8"

if they are interchangeable...idk, but the pumps and gears have diff numbers too. anyone actually put a hicas rack in a non-hicas car?

AFAIK, the Hicas rack has a shorter lock-to-lock distance.....

anyone know for sure..?

I've got a super hicas rack in my non-hicas coupe. It is one of my favorite upgrades to my car. I installed it along with a custom fabricated super SPL solid steering bushing. My car is super responsive. Install is easy as well. Can't go wrong.
