i've got a hesitation problem...bassically the rpm's drop on me almost like a misfire but i don't know for sure if thats what it is...i'll b stopped at a light and start going and the car will stutter\ hesitate for a sec then continue but sometimes the car will die maybe 1 out of every 100 times...the thing is the problem goes away one week then the next it'll come back...a friend of mine told me it was the IAC and this happens a lot with s13's but just want a second opinion
thanks for the help

if ur friend means IACV idle air control valve, then he's right and it is a common problem on these old cars. get some cleaner and clean out it out along with your throttle body. usually that clears up the problem.

theres a bunch of stuff that it could be, for me it was my spark plug misfired once in a while, i replaced my o2 sensor, all my spark plugs and spark plug wires before i sort of got it away.. now my car idles at 500 rpm occasionally. hehe..
