Just an update of my car.

Some of you maybe remember 1-2 months ago I posted about my car being wrecked due to a bad choice by a soccer mom. Anyway, Things are finally coming together. I decided to take this chance to put an s15 front on the car, and that has proved to be a large project in it's own. Mainly because fiberglass held it's reputation to not fitting well.

Just getting to the point of mounting and fitting body panels was a large task. Both framerails were bent pretty well, one with a bad buckle. We chose to cut the frame rails and weld in a new front piece with the core support. Since the S14 bumper support does not fit into a stock s15 bumper, we used chromoly tubing to make one. I'll get pictures of all the bumper work when everything comes off to be painted.

Right now it's a task of adding and cutting to get the fenders to our liking. Hopefully I'll have pictures of it painted and finished within 2 weeks.

A thanks to PasswordJDM for the bumper/lights. They were quick to process and ship. Also to Speed Alliance. They sold us the fenders, hood, and later on a radiator.

Speed Alliance makes there own fenders? or are they company that sell other products fenders?

since im pretty new at the 240sx scene ,Many have talk about the MASA fenders being quite OEM fitted compare the the GTPs ..

I was pretty close to getting the SWAAT fenders, they don't fit well huh? Perhaps it was for the best that I didn't go there.

The quality isnt the worst, and they're avalible domestically; so there's a convience there. You get what you pay for. I probaly would have gone with MASA had I been in a different situation where time allowed.

fenders arent that bad for the price. if i were to do it again..id still stick with these. i rather do a lil modding and save 200 bucks and a downtime of 2-3 months.

the fitment for me was bout 90% perfect.

i have speedalliance fenders. They were like a 95% good fit for me. I had to break out the dremel on like 2-3 places... no biggie. Definately worth the price and they're pretty thick and meaty.
