if i remember correctly the auto doesnt have a backing plate, just a spacer, more like a washer. if i can find mine ill send it, if youll pay shipping. i didnt do an auto/mt swap, but the motor in my car is from an auto. any other random parts you might need? i have them all laying around, excluding the auto tranny.

The A/T does have a mounting plate... You will need the M/T plate AND the M/T bolts. The A/T bolts are TOO SHORT. I found that out the hard way =]

which bolts are too short ? I remember all my bolts worked pretty well, the only ones you really need from the M/T are the starter bolts

They are different lengths.
A guy on over Freshalloy recently took the time to list the part numbers (if you want to go OEM) and the length (if you wanna take one to ACE Hardware to determine thread/pitch, then just buy the correct length)...I cut and pasted it to my site:

Use the auto one, it works fine...
Manual one is one piece, auto one is 2 piece...but they're the same thickness.
