Seems more like a poll then a hypothetical question. 350z hands down,if thats what I was looking at buying. Cheaper insurance,better reliability,and I like them more. I sold my muscle cars for a reason:)

out of those two choices? viper... pimp factor is too high. the goldiggers would melt through their panties over tha viper. then i'd paint that bish black and put a big red COBRA emblem on the hood (from GI Joe cobra not Shelby)

id go with the 350z hands down!!! idk, im just not a fan of the viper!! but if i could take the money elsewhere id get a used S4 with the Bi-Turbo and do a couple mods to her with the remainder :) or get a Z32 N/A 2 seater(cause hicas is evil) and drop an RB in her :) muahahahahahaha

As someone has mentioned....STi , used NSX, or S2000. A Supra and G35 Coupe are not bad also.

To answer the hypothetical question, I would get the viper between the two cars named... Personally, on the other hand, if I had that kinda money and my own druthers to make a decision, I would likely not get either one.

Viper just seems like it'll cost him more money in the long run..Maintenance alone will drain the wallet Dramatically...Not including gas,insurance,the much attention you'll get from the cops, bigger tires for that beast will cost a ton 9Especially if you wanna get decent to good tires)...Just think about this little things like sparkplugs for instance..10 vs 4(or maybe 6) that's like a 30-35 difference just for that..It's not worth it IMO

I'm with PHLIP. I probably wouldn't buy either of those cars if I had free will.

But, if I HAD to buy one, would this be my only car? Like, my daily driver? That would be a huge factor in my decision.

If I could keep my beater Sentra to drive around on a daily basis, I'd pick the Viper. If this car was going to be my only car, I'd pick the 350Z. I can't imagine what daily life with a Viper might be like, but I'd bet it really sucks. :mepoke: As a weekend, "hey look at me" car, I'm sure it's great.

I bet I could think of somethings that people will make more of a fuss over (For instance:yuppy driving his 2005 Ferrari 575Marenello(sp) at the local shopping mall + squeaking tires? A 1965 Corvette on a 2004 Z06 chassis? Etc.)

6 cylinder vs 10 cylinder.....i'd be practical and pick the 350 for gas reasons.

a C5 corvette is the best option if your in a position to get a used viper:

-comfortable
-great gas mileage
-sexy as hell
-they don't dent or ding
-they're the most dependable of ALL the exotics
-they're a gazillion times more dependable than the viper and WAY faster than a 350Z (and prolly handle better too)

freaking C5 dude.... hell, get a used Z06 :)

A c6 or Z06 would destroy a 350z in ANYTHING performance related. and they get better gas mileage on the highway [email protected] 65mph in 6th gear @ 1100 rpm. But between the 2 choices, i would take the 350Z. The Dodge Viper used to be my favorite car in the world. It puts out great numbers but not well built. It has a good quarter mile time, great skid pad numbers( 1.3g's stock !!!) but on the track, a corvette with less grip can beat cause the viper is an undrivable POS. Chryslers suck.

C5 hands down. Such an awesome car to drive! Between the two mentioned cars though...it's tough. probably the Viper. I mean, just listen to the damn thing even at idle. can't walk away from that with a clean conscience.
