So I just bought some work meister s1 and I called work and they told me they should be torqued to 26 ft/lbs but when I did that it seemed like I was about to strip the top of the bolts.. Is that because they are reused and stretched? I torqued all of them to 20 ft/lbs. will that be fine? It seemed like a good amount

Kinda related, when I disassembled my panasports, the breakaway torque was only 96 INCH/lbs. (8 ft lbs).

18-20ftlb should be fine. New/used hardware does make a difference. Not as much difference on wheels as the head on a car or something though.
