Price:

First, read full description, if you ask any questions that are answered in the below text do not expect a reply. Price is at the bottom of this listing, after the description and pictures. WILL NOT PART OUT. I will seperate engine and trans, but that is ALL I'm willing to do.

Description:

This engine was rebuilt less than a year ago, it runs and drives fine, I will let you drive it before you purchase and even go so far as to put it on the dyno if you come with cash in hand. I had plans to eventually boost this set up since it's bullet proof and ready for BOOST! The only reason I'm putting this set up for sale is because I'm going for more displacement.

Build list:

-S14 KA24DE engine
-Brian Crower 264 cams (these weren't just slapped in, they were spec'd and had to be turned down a bit to fit the head)
-Wiseco pistons
-Eagle rods
-Centerforce clutch
-light weight flywheel
-new water pump
-new NGK spark plugs
-new thermostat
-3 piece Mr. Gasket exhaust manifold
-long tube header with up and downstream O2 sensor
-S14 Mazworx one piece steel driveshaft
-KA24DE remote oil filter kit (Skullworx)
-after 2,000 miles break in on current rebuild I changed to Royal Purple 10W-30
-new front and rear main seal
-new timing kit
-new crank timing chain sprocket
-new cam timing chain sprockets
-new valve cover gasket
-new plug wires
-new distributor cap
-new rotor button
-S14, 5 speed trans has no grinds and has had Royal Purple gear oil in it since I installed it
-Circuit Sports trans mount
-this engine does not leak a drop of oil
-engine comes with alternator
-engine comes with power steering pump
-I'm 100% sure I'm overlooking a lot here. . .

There aren't just random pics I stole from the teh interwebs, if you want to add me on dem facebooks to see how long ago I posted them while assembling the engine, feel free. Scroll to bottom for price.

PRICE: I'm wearly to put a solid price on the whole swap. No one is going to pay what this is worth. If you have a problem with the price, then you probably can't afford it anyway.

Everything listed above, including you driving it before it is pulled, a trip to the dyno. . . and I may even be able to swing delivering it to you. . . $1,200. NOW, before you get your panties in a twist, please take into consideration just HOW much piece of mind I'm giving you with this purchase. I'm working to provide you with the most piece of mind before you purchase. I have driven this a lot since getting it back on the road, the set up is proven, no overheating, no stupid issues, crank it up and drive it.

Just so that I read right, the motor is still in the car running, correct? What are the specs on the pistons? Motor drives well with the cams? I am interested.

Thanks,
-Dave

Yes, motor is still in the car, it is running. Pistons are stock compression, you can really start to feel the cams around 3,800 or 4,000 rpm. Feel free to text me and I can get you pics after I get off work today of the engine in the car, maybe even take a short video to post on youtube so you can see and hear it running.

Dude, this is a crazy good deal.

Most stock KA swaps average $5-600 these days in CA not including a transmission.

I'd be all over this if I didn't already have my own KA build in the works.

Thanks! I figured everyone would be belly aching over a $1k+ KA swap, given that most S chassis owners are broke bastards lol

UPDATE: first "buyer" backed out, second buyer was supposed to be putting down a deposit this past weekend and hasn't came thru yet. If I don't hear from this guy within the next 24 hours this is back up for grabs.
