Hey Guy's. I've been having this issue with my S13 coupe with a 2JZ this season. I've noticed once the car gets around 1/2 a tank of fuel (sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less) when i go to do a pull the car hits a wall like a fuel cut, it does it every time over 1/2 throttle. If under 1/2 throttle the car pulls fine with no cuts. I go to the gas station fill it up with gas, and can do a pull immediately and the car goes without an issue.
Anyone have this issue in the past? Or an idea as to what it could be?
2JZGTE (Aristo)
FIC 750cc Injectors
DW300 Fuel pump (hard wired)
-6AN Feed / Return
-6AN Russell fuel filter.
All fuel components have less than 1000 miles on them.
Not sure if it's a failing fuel pump, or if it could be a filter issue, or maybe something with the fuel pump assembly.

I've had a issue before with the baffles in the tank. I ended up pulling one out. It wasn't an issue like yours but my tank always read 1/4. I pulled my fuel pump out and saw a baffle has loosened and held my sending unit in that position.
I think you might have a loose fuel feed line in the tank. Pull your pump and recheck the hose and clamps.

Almost sounds as if when you start to pull (I assume hard with a 2J)... that the gas maybe sloshes away from the fuel pump inlet and it's gulping air or maybe cavitating a bit.
If you haven't already, you should pop the fuel pump cover off, do a visual & make sure your pump is still securely mounted. Also check the condition of the tank itself- make sure it's 'breathing' properly.
Not familiar with your pump... If you are making 500-600+ hp, could it maybe be time for a second one?

for what it's worth, i don't have a gauge as i did a custom cluster and havent wired in a fuel unit yet, im basing my figures off putting 5-9 gallons of gas in the car.

feed line is still on strong, as is the pumps security. wonder if it could be an air issue with the vent, I'll have to look into that. the car is currently on 14psi at just over 400whp
