So here what happened. I took the egr system out, cleaned it and put it back. I started the car and the idle was at 2000. Then it would drop to 1100 for a couple seconds then back up. Now when I go to start it, it would idle around 2000 then stalls out unless I press the gas then it'll do the same thing again 2000 for a couple seconds then back down to 1100 for a couple seconds and so forth.
Here's what I did:
Adjusted the tps to .48v
Took the iacv out and cleaned it
Timing was at 20btdc before I took the egr out
Screwed the adjusting screw all the way in no change
Sprayed carb cleaner on the hose the goes to iacv and through the throttle body
I don't have a clue in what to do next. Might be something very simple idk I'm just lost and fustrated. I've read that it might be an air regulator? Is that the iacv? Any advice on what to do next? It ran fine before I took the whole egr thing out. I'd appreciate the help.

MAF sensor's new already tryed that, I unpluged the o2 sensor and ran at an idle for 30 seconds and the idle stayed strong so thats good, I also thought the dynam rc planes (http://www.rctophobby.com/rc-airplanes/shop-by-brand/dynam-rc-airplanes.html) sensor might need to be adjusted, I unpluged the TPS sensor to find my base idle and when I did the RPM stayed the same, whatever that means:duh::duh::duh:

Try spraying wd40 on iacv, had similar problem, and cleaning it didn't do it, I guess the valve wasn't opening and closing because it was stuck or something and wd40 did the trick

Should I spray where the piston and springs are? Or everything and let it dry.

Yes spray where piston and spring is and I didn't let dry I just blew air with compressor and put it back on

Just make sure it's not pouring with liquid, just led the wd40 fall off, lmk if that works

Well I tried what you said. First off it was a hard start. Idled rough at 1000. It didn't get smooth til after 2000. When I try press on the gas to raise the rpm there's a slight hesitation and when I let off the gas the rpm would go slight lower then back to 1000 and idles rough. Maybe I didn't adjust the tps right? Wire 2 and 3 on my tps gives me 4.48. Wires 1 and 2 gives the low voltage so that where I put the probe and adjusted. In order from 1-3. Black brownish white and green.

Ok if I'm right your tips is suppose to have around 5 voltage is that what you're getting on all pins? And did the idle stop fluctuating

You adjust the tps to .45-.55 volt. Yeah it stopped fluctuating. But when I disconnect the tps to find the base timing Its at 2000.

Try checking tps to make sure you adjusted right, never seen something like this, but due to the bad throttle response, it should have something to do with tps or your throttle body

I rechecked terminal 2&3 and it was still 4.48. I checked terminal 1&2 and it was .61v. I adjusted it to .50v. I did the resistance check via nicoclubs guide and it was within specs so my tps is good. The stoppers on the throttle body I never touched.

So now when I started it it idles around 1000 rough. Then I tapped the throttle and the rpm raised back to 2000+ and won't go back down.

Have you checked your map sensor?

Map sensor? Or maf sensor? If its maf, I cleaned it a while back with maf cleaner. I'll try cleaning it again

I think it's map

And check voltage not just clean it.

I first did the wrong wires and got something like .48, and could go no lower, when I did my TPS. I thought it was fried, and bought a new one, to find the same thing. You should have some that check out to .44.
Coolant temp sensor? Although it would be terrible luck if it just happened to go while you did other stuff. Maybe it ended up unplugged when you had to get at something?

I gotta look more into that map sensor. I checked every connectors and wires before starting it.

So I got it to idle at 800 still rough but its doing the same thing again. When I tap on the gas the rpm raisesto 2300 for a couple seconds then go back down for a couple seconds and back up. How would I test the ect itself? I tested the connector on the fsm and got 4.94v. Fsm says approx. 5v. I pinched the air regulator valve and rpm dropped a little. Idk if that's good or bad. I also tried lifting the diaphragm it stumbles but not stall. Idk if that helps but I'm stuck.

I found it finally! Leak at the egr tube and intake manifold. Thank you guys!
