It's ripped up I don't care. The dude has it for super cheap and i'd just clean it and re upholster it. If it's fake.. welll i wont bother getting it ;)

You can tell by the fabric, it's a fake as they come.

Not all Bride seats come with FIA sticker.

The seat is definitely fake tho

- the seating pad is poorly stitched together, warped
- 2nd to last pic, spring is not proper size. No tension either
- last pic, theres much more sparkle in a real seat

if you paid $350 for it, you got ripped off bad

fake, bride material doesn't hold wrinkles like that. regardless how old. I've had ripped zeta IIs and the material was still tight except for the rip

Don't call counterfit crap "replica". "replica" hardly even cuts it with rota, much less when they even copy the brand name.

you might wanna check that - I've got genuine VIOS 3 that's FIA approved.

Yeah I thought their fixed back models were all FIA approved. It's the reclinable models that are not...

Not all their fixed back models are FIA approved. That would include the ARTIS, ZEROS and all the other fixed back models.

ANYWAY that seat is fake as fuck. You can tell by the faded shoulder area.

they make something like 4 versions of the vios 3..and half of them don't come FIA approved. you pay way more for the FIA versions obviously.

why the fuck would you even buy that? do you need something for your dog to sleep on?

This. I just got a zeta III L that does not have the FIA certification sticker.

OP: Like people have been saying the seat is fake. Somethings that give it away is the cheap material, the glitter back is not as "intense" as the real Bride, and the wire and hook at the bottom of the seat is not accurate to the one that Bride of Japan uses.

On another note I have been in two pretty bad car accidents while sitting in a fake bride. One bent the frame of the car up to the driver and the seat held up fine. Not defending using fake seats just saying.

Ah that's good to know. I've only really looked at the seats that were FIA approved when I was shopping for a driving seat.

Same here, I was involved in a very serious accident (not my fault, I was rear-ended by a SUV and pushed under a truck) and I honestly believe that my fake bride seat was the only reason I was able to walk away without injury. The impact was actually hard enough to break my OEM passenger seat but the fake bride held up perfect. That said, I have a real bride in my car now and you can definitely tell the difference in the fabric, stitching and overall build quality between the real and fake seat, the real one obviously being far superior.

Seeing how the seat was $100, and NO I did not buy it for 350 or even that 100 so idk where said price came from, I would have just considered it for track use.

I want to run this past the local Bride seat dealer and verify this. When my friend purchased 2x Bride ZETA III Ls they were FIA. The only difference I could see on the catalogue were the choice of colours and gradation pattern option.

LOL'd, I actually use my stock miata seat for a gaming chair, and my dog sleeps on it XD
