I have a 95 s14 with obd1 I got a complete motor harness & automatic ECU from a 96 obd2

Did the complete engine swap but for some reason there's no starter signal
I check the starter signal fuse on the driver side kick panel Check the clutch switch bypassed it with a wire
& nothing I checked with a fuse tester & all fuses have power but the starter signal 7.5 amp fuse. When I turn the ignition switch I can hear all relays next to the fuse box click on a off
I also replaced the ignition switch & nothing. I can turn over the starter by touching a wire from the connector to the battery & the car starts.

Any help? Could it be something Im missing when I changed to obd1 to obd2 ?

dude its in the lower harness. It is a 3 wire triangular plug or it may be a 2 wire rectangular looking plug. That harness plugs into the lower plug on the fusebox under the hood.

are you doing a 5spd conversion or was the car already a 5spd.

Stupid question, but I have to ask. Do you have the start signal wire connected to the starter? Should have a female spade terminal on it.

Sure do...
Anyone else ?

I also tried jumping a wire from one fuse to the starter fuse to give it power & still nothing same clicking noise from the relays

There is a ground on the lower harness that needs to be connected for the starter to work. Sounds like it's not connected.

I grounded out my harness on my driverside harness and my car would not turn over until i separated all the wiring and rewrapped it.

Make sure you have no wires exposed on the driverside fender harness.

I checked all wires they are fine.
As the ground the only ground there is from alternator to body & that Is connected
