1989 Nissan 240sx Hatch. Power windows, locks, mirrors. Keyless entry via alarm remote. Has Heat but no a/c. NO rust or frame damage.
This car has been great to me in every way. It gets tons of compliments everywhere I go whether it’s at the stop light, parking lot, drive thru, car meet etc. This car even won 3rd place for Formula D Long Beach 2013 "drift" class from Slammed Society/Fatlace. Its main purpose was to be a daily driver but also see the track. It has full interior with the Safety21 6 point cage, it’s quiet and super reliable. I daily drove it for 3 years straight without any major issues. The only thing that was a problem was the CAS so I replaced it with a brand new one from Nissan. This is why you’ll see I have bought many new parts from Nissan, that reason is to keep it reliable.
I did 1 drift event for a few hours to see the fruits of my labor and I can now say I’m 100% satisfied that it lived up to what it was built for. It handled great without issues, ran cool as always, ran strong and didn’t miss a beat. I even drove it there and back. The reason why I want to sell my pride and joy is because after all the long hours of searching, picking up parts or tinkering with it, I have come to the conclusion that I want to move on. Sadly, it sits in my garage when not being driven(which is 2-4 times a month) so if someone else could put it to good use, it would be a great car to have. I do not need to sell it, but if it goes, it goes. I’m trying to set myself free of any money pits that I have and set myself up to make a home purchase sometime next year.
The Bad: It does hold a salvage title from a parking lot accident that occurred in 2003(2003 or 2004) but it was only a fender that was replaced, NO FRAME or structural damage. Potential buyers can come inspect it and we can pull the fenders off if you’re a SERIOUS BUYER. PLEASE don't cry about this and use it as a bargaining card. I will simply ignore you. It could use a new alignment as well.
This is a turn key car ready to hit the streets, tracks or meets. No need to worry about all the hours your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend, husband or combination of those will nag at you for working on a car. Just add gas, and go wherever you please.
