I am changing directions about alot of things in my life an this is one of them. I have some opportunities and want to capitalize on them. In doing so This car must go. I have well over 900 hours in this car and built it from a bare stripped shell. It currently runs, drives, stops, blows the tires off through 3rd gear. Needs a good tune, and some care to the body and panels, tires and you have a sub 1'30" car for Road Atlanta or drift, or whatever you want to do with it. I Would like to sell the car whole complete, but if I must I will part it out. Here is the list of parts that are on the car, not including any labor. The math doesnt lie. I have a possible buyer on the Drive train setup but no deal struck yet.
Drivetrain:
-ASA LS1 built by Grimes machine as one of their race program motors. ASA claims 430 to the wheels through a restrictor, 4 speed and quickchange. I have a feeling that this one will make more than that. This motor is 076 of 300 ever built by GM performance, and then Gary went back through it with his amazing skills and give it a little more. Since all the R&D on these motors was propietery, I dont know exactly whats done to it. I trust what Gary says and leave it at that. This motor has 3 races on it and 3 wins. So maybe 25 hours of total run time.
This motor setup is using the Peterson scavenge setup designed for the ASA series cars with ALL peterson components(Moroso pan). Everything is Fully plumbed and ready to go. There are almost $2K in just lines and -AN fittings. The entire oil system is almost 5 gallons, with a 3.5 gallon reservoir. I set it up to run the off the shelf Fram HP1 oil filters( They are actually a really good filter). Its running full Camaro F-body accessories with a aftermarket Turn 1 powersteering pump. All accessories are new with new bolts and gaskets from GM. I am running the LS2 truck coils with the built in heat sinks.
- 1.75" headers into a 3" exhaust. Maintains under 98db, under 2500 rpm
-Tremec T56 out of a SS camaro, built by a local Transmission guy that used to build race transmissions, had the same internals as the Tick Stage 2, so its good for 600+ hp. Not more than 1 mile on the trans.
-GM LS7 Clutch, Less than 1 mile of use
-GM concentric slave
-Speartech Race harness with a 2003 GTO ECU (flashed with a cam'd C5 ZO6 tune so it will run and drive)
-600hp+ drive shaft with oversized U-joints
-Nismo 2 way differential (pretty sure its on a 4.08 gear)
-Stock axles
- Custom Built Griffin Radiator, dual pass, with built in Oil cooler on Drivers side tank.
Chassis:
- Clean Titled 1991 240sx Hatchback, Completely stripped and gutted, stitch welded.
- 8 point 1.75x.095 cage, with Nascar Doorbars, cage mounted seat brackets, and goes through the firewall into the strut towers.
- Full tubs in engine bay
- Tubular rear end for fuel cell mounting
- 180 sx doors(very light weight)
- Full Origin Bodykit with 50mm (bowed to over 60mm) rear overs with custom sheetmetal 70mm wide front fenders that were built out of stock fenders. Will clear a 295 in the front.
- OE windshield installed
- Complete Percy's Speedglass molded Lexan for the entire car
-180sx Taillights
Suspension:
JIC Coilovers
Megan Upper and Lower controls
JIC rear toe*
Whiteline Adjustable Sway bars front and rear
Fuel System:
- ATL Sport cell, 15 gallon, built in 2 quart swirl pot with 250 l/hr pump.
- Twin 30 micron fuel filters
- Aeromotive A1000 Fuel pump
- Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
- All Aeroquip Lines and Fittings
Brakes:
Front: Stoptech 13" Big brake kit with 2 piece rotors
Rear: 300zx TT caliper and rotor
- 300zx Booster and Master Cylinder
Wheels:
(4) Wedsport Sa-55m
18x10+18
Limited run of black with Blue candy only had tires mounted on them and rolled around, Never been driven on
(4) Wedsport Sa-55m
18x10+18
Bronze, painted white, They are used but paint is chipping, and would need to be re coated.
(4) MB Battles
17x9.5 +20 with Nexan 275/40/17 tires
Seats:
Recaro Pole Position
(1) Hans Compatible
(1) regular
Electronics:
All sensors were wired into a AIM Strada Dash mounted in the OEM guage location, using Bosch Sensors
Safety:
Full Fire Suppression System
Headlights:
PIAA triple lamp projector with integrated turn signals
MISC:
- All ARP studs in hubs
- Willwood Brake Bias
-Willwood Clutch Master Cylinder with Braided line
-OMP steering Wheel with Detachable Hub
I am probably forgetting some things and will add as I get time. Like I said I would like to sell the car as a whole with everything I have for it. Please feel free to ask questions if you are serious about the car or drive train. NO trades for anything, just cash, or wire transfer. I came up with well over $40K in parts, with no labor factored in. I can start the car and drive it. If you want to drive it then bring all $22K with you in cash.
$22,000 OBO Need this car gone. Make a Reasonable offer and you will be surprised.
