i would like fellow zilvian's opinions on the better buy between these two motors, yes they have different parts but just by looking at hoses, any rust areas, if wiring is worn or not, and the cleaner or greasier the motor is. If you're looking for the least hassle free motor to install and/or worrying about replacing any wiring, which one would you choose????? Thanks in advance!

Option number one looks like it was better taken care of by the way its assembled on the pallet. And it does not have a tubular manifold like option 2 but does have a full down pipe and i dont know to much about the mines ecu. But this is just by the pictures and is all up to you

How far are they from you? The best thing to do is make the trip and look at them yourself.
Do research on the importer also, there is tons of reviews on importers you can trust.
I always use Japanese Engine Import in Manassas but other people have had good experiences else where.

Hah, I live like 10-15 minutes from this place. Been there a few times, definitely doesn't look like the racks and racks of engines/crap they have pictured on their auctions. Of course they get SRs after I already bought mine too. Anyway, definitely get the 2nd motorset if you buy it from them. I noticed the first one has a "61" ECU which doesn't seem correct for an SR20DET.

↑ Wow didn't even notice the Mine's-tuned stickers. But yeah, a 61 ECU doesn't correspond to RWD Silvia/180SX SR20DETs (auto or manual). Perhaps a Q's/J's SR20DE. Who the hell knows, some guy in Japan could've sent it to Mine's to make it work for whatever. All the more reason to stay away from that motorset.

Regardless, 99.9% of SR's for sale by these places have been beaten on prior to coming across the pond; or beaten on here in the states prior to sale. Any used SR you choose, you may want to make sure you've got a grand or two in the bank for a rebuild just in case- unless there is paperwork showing a recent rebuild or something of that nature.
Not saying whatever you get won't fire right up and be completely awesome... so please don't think I'm being negative... just that most you will find from these places are VERY well broken in ;)
Either one would be fine based on the visuals.
