well.... supposedly in cali it is illegal.. but i've driven with no hood for like 50 miles at like 80 mph... so anyways.... its fine,... just make sure that you remove anything loose cause it will fly away... like the hood paneling..

I had to do this not to long ago when I went to get a new hood for my car.

Guess what I did? I called the local CHP office and asked an officer if it was illegal, I got his badge number and then I took my hood off and drove to the shop sans hood.

The officer said it was NOT illegal. Call your local CHP office and ask, get a badge number just incase the officer is wrong and WORK IT BABY YAEH!!!

yea i think you can. i've driven without headlights, bumper, fenders, or hood when i went to a body shop to get a quote on s13 conversion. i drove right by a cop and he didnt notice.

That or you'll get to see bugs get sucked into your turbo. Wait for that big one that would usualy make a big splatter on your windshield
