Don't know yet, not there yet so I will wait till the car is out of the body shop and winter is over before I start thinking about what would go in. I appreciate the offer though

Works with a factory driveshaft so long as you have a standard s13. If you were interested in that I would consider selling it if needed, but if you have a stock one you won't need a replacement.

Wanted to do a video as soon as I got in to work (where the car is kept) today bright and early, so no one thinks I had time to tinker or mess with the car. This is as the car sat, did not warm it up, mess around with anything, move the car, basically as it sat this morning to show you car starts first try and runs and idles fine.

I would have done a cluster shot but I do not have a recalibrated tach (was using a AFC for RPM, but sold it yesterday, in another FS thread ).

I bought the motor and it did come with a lot of good parts as he said. Nicely packed up and we met near the highway to make it easy for me. I needed the motor for a R32 and the price was right. When I got the motor I noticed the slave was missing but this was not an issue for me at all, as I was planning on using the RB26 trans I had.
I had noticed the rust on the side of the bock and splatted on the parts but the seller said that was from a cooling line that came loose on the back of the motor. My plan was to pull the head, resurface it and use a full oem gasket kit, new pumps and put it together with ARP hardware and all new hoses clamps and fasteners.
I stripped the motor down and a few exhaust studs has broke, I then when I went to remove the cams and this is when the issues became apparent. The cam cap bolts needed a ton of force to turn. They had even became hot from wrenching. And when they cam out of the head they were still stuck in the cap itself. The head was very warped this was apparent. I got myself a replacement head, which I had resurfaced and replaced the stem seals on. I continued cleaning the block, painting it and used the OEM RB20 gasket kit with ARP head studs as well as a new OEM oil pump, water pump. The timing set was new so this was reused. The cooling pipes and galleys were also gunked up. I was able to clean them out with gun brushes and then a solvent tank cleaning and blasting.
It is in my opinion this motor was overheated badly... probably why the water pump was recently replaced. The seller denied it was overheated and said that it was a cracked or torn coolant hose that wrapped around the block but he didn't overheat it.
Upon reassembly I also discovered the mounting tab for one of the two wastegate actuator bolts was cracked and desperate from the compressor housing. This was repaired as well. Also the OEM clutch and flywheel included were burnt to death, luckily I was using the 26 stuff I had.
Seller was selling to do another type of build, honda swapping his S13 I think the driving force here was this motor running hot due to overheating and carping the head so bad the cam journals were out of alignment. However the bottom end was in pretty decent shape and the motor lives again. Now this is speculation but I would be weary or anything used he sells. Granted it was only the head that really set me back, but if the average buyer bought and swapped this motor it would no doubt be trouble today.
Anyhow she lives, but buyers beware.
