Went over to my friends house because they keep saying how his clutch is crazy. its a 89 240sx with red top sr20det, open diff. So he hands me the keys and I go to back it out of his garage, im like holy shit because its starts breaking traction IN REVERSE, who no gas. Anyways, i went around and the clutch is crazzyyyy, can spin the tires like NOTHING, i didnt mash it but they said it chirps 4th, I coulnt beileve how nice this clutch was, or how anyone daily drove it, just wanted to share how much of a noob i am, oh and its a O.S. Giken Twin plate

yeah you are right i guess, Its hard for me to explain, its not like the clutch was slipping, i mean it was like chirping in reverse, and it chirps all the way to 4th gear on a stock sr

That is correct. The clutch is doing its job, and very well I might add. But a great clutch without good traction is useless. Try taking that thing to the track and he'll get horrible times. To make things worse, he has a stock motor which means if he had more power, he would barely ever have any traction. That is why he spins his tires all the time. He needs to match that clutch with an equal tire, differential, and suspension set up. Just start by getting some grippy tires and notice the difference.

I have a spec stage 2 and my car does the same thing. Spins the tires pulling out in reverse at like 2 mph, and when pulling out of parking spaces etc. The problem isnt traction- i'm running Falken Azenis st115 245's. The problem is the shitty open differential.

I think the problem is you...haha. Either that or my clutch sucks. I've got the same clutch, open diff and I don't have a problem with traction. If I dump the clutch is reverse or 1st then of course it's gonna spin the tires...

When i think of no traction i think of smoke pouring out from the tires, desperately trying to find grip. This is more like the tire scrubs the ground for a second. Its not a loss of traction, its having a wheel spin in an uncommon manner.
