Hi Everyone,
I originally bought this 93 RX7 in October of 2012 with the intention of working on it over time to turn it into my ideal LS powered RX7, but as life would have it I have had little free time and haven’t touched it since I bought the car (other than swapping out the wheels).
I bought the car from its previous owner in Northern California with 120k on the chassis and (an unconfirmed) 50k on the powertrain. I test drove the car and found that it drove well and looked nice in person so I bought it and had it shipped to Phoenix, Arizona (where I live and where the car is located now). Since the shipping company dropped off the car it hasn’t run. I’m not sure why this is and it doesn’t appear to be a battery issue as I had checked the battery and it was still holding current when I had tried turning it over, but I haven’t had the opportunity to troubleshoot the problem.
I am not sure what engine swap kit was used or what donor car was used for the motor, but I can take additional pictures if these will help answer questions. I am by no means an expert on either the FD3 or the LS powertrain so I will do my best to answer any questions.
Car has a clean carfax which I obtained August 19th 2013 and have attached below.
Here is a list of issues that I know of about the car:
1. The body is in overall good condition, but there are paint chips along both front fenderwells (see pictuers), as well as a couple poorly repaired scratches on the driver’s side fender. Also, the driver’s side headlight cover is a different shade of red than the rest of the car.
2. Electrical: this is the one area where I think the car needs the most attention. Just from looking under the dash, the wiring isn’t labeled and the connections were done with taps and splices. The car would really benefit from a custom harness (as can be purchased from Jordan Innovations). The car currently has no radio or A/C. During my test drive, the speedo was not working as car needs dakota digital signal converter.
3. The interior panels are in good condition. The original seats are not included; instead there are momo seats and steering wheel, as well as a roll bar which has been bolted in. I have the interior panels bagged, and will be included with the car. I removed these interior panels to inspect the body of the car
4. Suspension: car is on D-1 drift spec coilovers with no apparent issues
5. Wheels/tires: XXR 527’s are brand new, tires are Falken RT-615’s with good amount of treadlife left
6. I haven’t tested the powertrain since I test drove the car in October 2012, at which time it pulled well. The car currently does not run, as mentioned in the second paragraph of this advertisement.
My honest estimation is that with some attention to the electrical system and TLC to the interior, this car can be a very nice LS swapped RX7. I am not in a rush to sell nor do I need to sell (so please no lowballs), but it makes little sense to hold on to the car when it is just gathering dust.
Price is $12,500.

-I have the title in hand and car currently has Montana registration. I will sign title over to the new owner once car is paid for in full.
