this question has been beat to death. there must be hundreds of threads about s15 front end.. here we go again.. ill tell you what you probably need..

s15 oem headlights - 600
s13/s14 -> s15 conversion fenders or s15 metal fenders welded onto your existing fenders - 500-750
s15 bumper (oem or jdm aftermarket) - 500-1000
s15 hood (oem or jdm cf) - 400 - 1000
s15 radiator support - 300
s15 hood hinges - 50

the cost of an s15 front end will run you 2500-3500 not including paint and depending on what parts you use. many people talk about doing it, but rarely any do it. some of the stuff i mentioned is optional like the s15 radiator support, but if you're doing an s15, why cheap out?

you dont need the core support/radiator support for a converson on a s14 , i m pretty sure, cause they sell s14 core supports as part of some of those swaps.......

thanks ryan, i appreciate the help.

FRpilot & DRFT i know what i need, i was asking those that had done it to give me problems they ran into. so i can expect and budget the same problems. and correct me if im wrong but you dont need the hood hinges if you are doing the swap on a S14, you need them on a S13

the hood fits fine onto the stock hinges. I got my fenders from www.speedalliance.com with NO fitment problems at all. The headlights you need to re-wire which isnt hard at all, took me five minutes and a few parts from autozone. You need to make two softball sized holes where the headlights go to fit them in properly. You also need to hack at the bumper support with a sawzall or something big , depending on the bumper you get. My vertex didnt require me to take off the bumper support, i trimmed off the sides a little bit of the support. Most fenders don't come with pre-drilled holes either, so you need to take a dremel and make them. Its pretty simple and straightforward if you are good with your hands. You should put the stuff on yourself then take it to get painted. The body shop will rape you cause its just time consuming shit.

I got my S15 conversion for my gfs car from importfan.com

600-750 for headlights
350ish for S15 core support
399 for a GTP CF hood
S15 conversion fenders (fiberglass) 299
bumper was like 200 bucks or so

I ended up doing custom metal fenders... my lord did it cost money haha

if you want the GTP fenders I have em for cheap brand new

Problems you will encounter- fenders will need some mods to fit, everything else worked just fine, bumper needed some massaging but it wasnt hard

carnal c30--why did you go with custom fenders? why not the fiberglass?

I can't say for sure for him, but I can speculate:
the GTP fenders suck. Everyone I've ever talked to who had them said so. THey have fitment issues and require professional customization to fit correctly. Metal, on the other hand, is stronger, accepts paint/finish better, and you can lean on it ;)
A quality metal fabbed fender will be much nicer than a FRP one (in general).

thanks S156spd, i have been doing some pricing. i found the lights for $550 new. what fenders do you recomend? and where did you get them? i was looking on www.wholesalehyperformance.com and they give you measurements and directions on exactly where to cut your stock core support. they have the entire kit for $2500 i think.

carnal c30--why did you go with custom fenders? why not the fiberglass?

fitment issues, they would fit but they needed some work- cheap if you have the skill and time to work on fiberglass... but I just decided to get custom metal ones made- much pricier eheh

I still have the GTP ones... I sell real cheap :D and I can get any other parts you want
I'm going to be doing another S15 conversion soon :D
