I remember someone saying somewhere that you can get your OEM paint color-matched and have it put in a spray can (Krylon I think) so you can just spray it onto your car. Of course it won't look as good as a eal paint job but its better than nothing.

I was looking on Krylon's site and I found no mention of this. Anyone know if its possible? Doesnt even haveto be Krylon, as long as they'll match your original paint color and deliver it in a can. :D

Thanks

I got paint made up from the colour code of my car and it was in a can. Got it from a local automotive store. Colour match was very close. If I only spent more time prepping the front lip it would have turned out better.

Google had an answer for me.

It is expensive though. :/

Anyone have a cheaper alternative? I don't expect like a $10 can, but still.. thats quite a bit. :P

trying going to a NAPA and other places that have paint, they might be able to do it for you

Art,

Call me late this afternoon. My friend just had some paint made up for him locally in Alameda. It was a lot cheaper than the online places.
