why whats this blow off valve sound? Is it good? Are they expensive. I know its to stop the backpressure when you take your foot off the accalerator at boost or somethin isnt it?

actually i was gonna find someone who has a turbo put a mic in the hood and tape his bov. then i would burn it to a cd and just loop it.
*camppains at a red light with hot chicks on the corner* bov keeps going off while stationary <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> pshh pshh psahh pssshh psssssssh pshh *cd skipping* ph ph ph ph phpoh
they also got some nice plastic intercoolers to go with this impressive money waster.

blow off valves are used to release excess turbo air when the accelerator is let off (throttle plate closed) so the turbo air won't be forced to go back and less pressure would be applied through the piping. it is loud, and gets louder as more pressure is used (more psi).
