The o ring on my dipstick is doodoo lol smh ; so maybe that the problem ? ; but my car still feels like it is hesitating when it spools .

Suggestions pleaseee , Thank You in advanced .

Sounds like you are building up to much pressure in your crankcase. I would check the compression and perform a leakdown test to see if you have an excessive amount of blowby.

Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how+to+perform+a+leakdown+test+on+an+engine)

You can check the compression with compression tester gauge which you can typically rent from Autozone.

Compression Tester Gauge | AutoZone.com (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Tools-Garage-and-Equipment/Compression-Tester-Gauge/_/N-263y)

The leak down tester is similar in looks but you will need a air compressor. Instead of me typing it all out here is a link that will explain it.

Leak-down tester - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leak-down_tester)

take it to a shop, get the leak down test done. It should tell you if you have bad rings or so. The dipstick shouldn't shoot out regardless of the o ring. The oil ring is basically there to keep crap from getting in...not to keep it from shooting out the guide.

If you know anything about SRs, you'll know that SRs have blow by. LOTS of it. Even with a PERFECT engine making 500+HP.

Is your crankcase ventilation set up properly?

PCV to manifold, and I suggest putting a catch between the two. Nissan PCVs are garage and will let oil in and pool in your manifold.

Then off the T on the driver side, rear goes to the black catch can, and the front goes to your intake pipe.

The PCV is for vacuum, but it closes under boost, that's when the intake pipe takes over and uses that to evacuate the pressure.

Does that catch can fill up with oil? I'd try changing your dip stick O ring first, might get lucky and it might just be loose as shit.

You dont open it, see the clear tube on the side of it? That shows how full the damn catch can is. If its all black, then thats oil in there. Take the whole thing out, dump the oil out and put it back in. Keep an eye on it and see how soon before you start filling that can up with oil.

ok im putting money on this

take the front mount off lean it on its side and drain the oil out of it if your running these hoses like I think you are the whole intercooler and intake manifold are chalked up with oil

Ohhh .. If thats full that could cause my dipstick to pop up n oil to shoot ?

No, that means you have excessive blow by and you need to start saving your pennies for another engine or bottom end.

Mike, not necessarily. He is running a catch can between the T and the intake tract. From the looks of it, its not full...yet.

that would answer a lot of this guys questions

suction and blow by are two things that don't do well together with oil lol

s13mikesr20
08-18-2013, 04:25 PM
ok awesome now change spark plugs bkr7e

and run seafoam threw the whole intake system get all that oil crap out

and clean the piss out of the intercooler pipes

front mount etc

then just run a dump tank don't bother running the line back to the suction pipe unless you want to repeat the previous steps plug the suction pipe hole for the catch can and be done with it

Run one hose to overflow tank then plug the suction pipe

This thread went WAY off!

Dude, change the damned o-ring!

If that doesn't make it pop in as tight as it should go, then put your dipstick in until it's fully seated. Once seated, squeeze the top of it gently (the lip on the stick, NOT the feed tube!) with a pair of needle nose pliers until there is more resistance required to pull it out. Easy peasy.

Used to happen to me (and others) back in the day... in both my 180SX and my GT-R.

As far as your hesitation goes, it has NOTHING to do w/the dipstick issue- put fresh #6 plugs in there (since stock SR setup), clean the air filter element and never EVER use octane booster... and you will probably not have hesitation anymore. If you do after that, check for boost/vac leaks.

Also, please take an English class.

You need a lesson in video making, i tried to follow that shaky, messed up ar video, then i get lost because it look like that catch can goes to the power steering pump, posted after 3 views. I see the oem routing that ok and you probably have oil in the intake from that but...I'm lost on what the video was supposed to show.
