Does anyone know what to do about this? I dont even know how it happened. I just got home when suddenly something snapped down there and i checked it out. it was my clutch pedal's metal support frame. The left half snapped off! How does welding snap off, it doesn't make sense. Can anyone help me out here. Any suggestions?

welds are only metal, not some super-unbreakable substance. probably just from pushing on it thousands of times, think about how many times you shift... its a lot. shouldnt be too expensive to replace, a couple dollars from a junkyard.

Mine also did that, but on the right side.
I just rewelded it.
