Knock sensor question

My car has been running really shitty lately, my mpg has gone to crap, I even had to advance timing to get it to run right, I though it could be my timing chain being off a tooth, but It's dead on..

Ran in through the obd scanner and that code came up.

Would a bad knock sensor cause all this?
Ps. If my dizzy is on oem timing it won't run right at all, misfires and sputters all over the place, only way to drive is if my shit is super advanced.. Ty in advanced

make sure the knock sensor harness is not bad or cut or loose. that may also throw the code. my 0.02

I just ordered the sensor and sub harness, will that cause my symptoms?

The timing is off then probably jumped a tooth or two.

I re did the timing last weekend all according to spec, and it came out cherry..

Knock sensor on the sr retards the timing significantly. Maybe same on ka
