Wassup everyone got a few questions bout my Sr ; so my cars misfires while idle like i feel the car misfiring while im in idle ; sometimes so bad car almost shuts off ; would that mean i need spark plugs again ??
My turbo gasket that goes from turbo to elbow has a leak does this count as a boost leak ? When i get on the gas my turbo spools but i feel my car hesitating, enough air that if i put my hand next to it i feel it .
Last question i know i need a head gasket cuz oil spills out at high rpms and hits the exhaust manifold and smokes up my car , smells gross too but i know the smell if burning oil . So would this be a reason why my car is hesitating as well ? Or is thag a totally different issue ?
Thanks in advance ,Danny

Oil spills from where? from how you explain it, sounds more like the valve cover gasket. Fix the dump pipe issue and you might fix the misfire problem though.

Misfire: Did you double check the base timing and what injectors/gap are your running?
Elbow gasket leak: Doesnt affect anything other than potentially make you high from the exhaust fumes or kill you since its carbon monoxide.
Headgasket and Valve cover gasket are 2 diffent things.

Well while im driving it happens but i cant tell where the oil spills from but how would i kno if its head gasket or valve gasket ?
And my elbow gasket could be the reason for the misfiring yu think ?

Friendly reminder of what happened to me... I would at least take the valve cover off and see if anything is messed up about it. I had oil leaking out the back of mine once because one of the half circles in the back didn't seat right when I installed it. So it would leak fairly bad if it was to leak from there. Its just the oil spray doesn't really look like it is coming from there. it looks just like mine did.
I had oil spitting out of the oil dipstick which was cause by my #4 cylinder having a hole which under boost pressurize the crank and blow oil everywhere. It caused a fire which took out my cas, wiring harness, hoses, couplers, hot pipe, hood, etc... I had only noticed it the day before and was trying to figure out what was going on. Since I wasn't able to see it because it only happened while driving, that was my fate.
Has your dipstick been dislodged from it spot at all? The day my fire happened, I was about to leave from work and checked the engine and found the dipstick was pushed out of its spot and there is no reason why its should ever do that if everything is fine with the motor (that I know of).
Not saying something isn't wrong with your head gasket but the oil is not leaking from there, that's for sure. The head gasket is lower than the exhaust manifold and you can see the oil is spitting from someplace higher since its on top of the hose from your actuator (among other places higher).

Is the weather stripping missing from where you hood meets the area under the windshield wipers? I took that off once and water was hitting some wiring or something and caused my car to sputter before. Kinda strange but I put the strip back and it never happened again.

Yur right my dipstick is out of place when i check it ; what would i have to do to stop that from happening ?

Do a leak down test or take it to a shop to do it and report back. Your piston rings may be bad....but hopefully the test will be ok.

So i did a little reading and bad pcv said it could cause leaking out my oil pan which is happening .. The dipstick to be pushed out which is happening .. And oil shooting out of dipstick whole which is also happening , and some said boost hesitation could occur which is also happening. You said this could cause a fire which blows my mind lol smh ; so im not gnna drive til my new pcv comes in 2morrow . After replaced im gnna let yu guys know if im still havin these problems .
Thanks ; More suggestions r still welcome !! Thanks everyone
