I need a 6 pt roll cage with removeable side impact bars for the D1 Driver's Search later this year. Any recommendations on finding someone to build the cage? Thanks.

David at JDMRecycler (aka "ABCD") can probably help you with that; they race all across the US competitively, and occasionally go out to STUSA events when they have nothing better to do.
You can contact David at (714) 713-1749. Tell him Adriel (red s13 hatch) sent you!

I know a guy a few miles from me who builds hot rods. I fixed his computers, so he owes me one. I'm going to have him build my cage as soon as I find out the required specs. He does some NIIIIIIIICE work. And his garage is to drool over.

There is a local guy here in San Diego that is doing the roll cage in our project car they are located in Santee, they do alot of Sand rails and did the cage in Paul Walkers r34, if you want somebody close by they do some of the best work I have seen. Hit me up on aim: doriftokouki

Are you referring to someone named Gabe Agana? I was given his phone number by the guys over at Group5 Motorsports. However, whenever I call him, he never picks up. I'll contact you on AIM.

To everyone else: Thanks for the leads. I will call these places.

question, why not just autopower?

While I haven't seen autopower's bar for the S14, I've seen autopower bars on other cars and the fitment is usually not very good. And by fitment i mean there are uneven gaps along where the main hoop runs against the ceiling. I want the cage to be as flush against the car as possible to maximize interior space. Plus even if I got the autopower bar, I still need to get someone to add side impact bars.

If someone's got pictures of the autopower bars for s14, I'd love to see it! :)
