Well I did telemarketing for a short time. One month and it sucked. I got cuss at so many times it's not even funny. All I did was call people and ask them to donate money to the mentally retarded. "Special Olympics". Sometimes I call people and tell they won a car or a Million dollars. You should see how those fools reacted! :biggrin:

Telemarketing is the coolest job. I worked for Neilsen's (the TV ratings people) for a year and that shit is hilarious. I hate talking to people on the phone so I spent my whole year shitting around with people on the phone. The funniest are people that think that &quot;playing&quot; around with me pissed me off, there were the funniest and I messed around with them to. man theres this number that you can call and you tell them your name and phone number and it takes your name of the telemarketers list. &nbsp;if they still call you you have the right to sue the company. &nbsp;i did it and i was hoping for telelmarketers to call so i can sure them but them sons of bitches (no offense ca18guy) didnt.

Just tell the person calling to &quot;take put you on there do not call list&quot; If they call you again you can turn them in and they get fined or something. Rule #1) &nbsp;If you get a call and no one answers within 2 seconds, hang up.

Rule #2) &nbsp;If they callback and STILL dont answer within 2 seconds, hang up. &nbsp;:)

Rule #3) &nbsp;If for some reason they DO start talking within 2 seconds and it IS a solicitor, tell them they're calling your cell phone. &nbsp;Absolutely amazing how quickly they hang up.

I never get ANY calls anymore. &nbsp;Oh, caller ID helps. &nbsp;Unlisted numbers are usually telemarketers.
