I have a KA24 Shortblock for sale. Was intended to be a forced induction engine, but I got my wife pregnant like a genius and now things have been put on hold. Lucky you.
Onto the block: It was professionally machined by an engine machinist.
Work done at machine shop:
*Block hot tanked
*Magnafluxed
*Honed, not bored.
*Rods ground and re-spec'd.
*Block Blueprinted.
Blueprint revealed that the engine was within spec from the beginning, so it wasn't required.
ARP Hardware bottom to top. Every single fastener is the best that ARP offers. ordered it all off FRSport.com. pictures of the receipts are below. ARP Custom Hardened Main Studs, not the original ARP Mains, these are hardened to 220,000 psi instead of the standard 200,000.
ARP Rod Bolts still in the package. Brand new ever opened.
Hardened ARP Head Studs treated to the upgraded 220,000psi as well.
Nissan OEM grade matched main bearings and Clevite77 rod bearings still in the package.
All of which is brand new out of the box and just placed in the engine.
All labor and work paid for and done already for you!
I chose this block to build because it came out of a 1991 240SX with 90,000 miles!
Here's what you get in this lovely package, all brand new!
*Fully Machined KA24DE Block including pistons, rods, and crank.
*ARP Hardened 12pt Main Studs.
*ARP Rod Bolts.
*ARP Hardened 12pt Head Studs.
*Nissan Grade Matched OEM Main Bearings.
*Clevite77 Rod Bearings.
*Nissan OEM Piston Ring Set.
*2 sets of pistons, Nissan OEM, that came with the block, and DNJ OEM Replacement forged pistons.
*All piston hardware, wrist pins, rod bushings, circlips.
*Nissan OEM Timing kit brand new never used.
*And I'll even throw in a 1991 248 Exhaust Camshaft. :)
Machining work cost me 350 alone.
All parts listed alone totaled over $700.
So I'm into the build about 1100 or so.
I am looking for 400 firm picked up for everything listed.
Also have oilpan lower timing cover etc... that i'll throw in.
