Remove it and replace it with another bolt. Since its stripped you can try an easy out or weld a nut onto it and turn it out with a socket wrench or whatever.
yeah, thatd work if i had access to a welder.

Get a left-handed bit and drill it out.

I would weld a nut to it and remove it, done it tons of times. The heat from the welding helps break it free if it's frozen.

There's really not many options man. Either weld a nut onto it, or drill it out. Drilling it out is going to be a bitch. Drag the tranny down to a muffler shop with a few extra nuts and have them welded. It takes a few tries sometimes so don't freak out if the nut just breaks off the first time.
guess ill have to try that. i might try a dremel first. maybe make it wrenchable.

EZ OUT (https://www.google.com/search?q=ez+out&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS490US490&oq=ez+out&aqs=chrome.0.69i57j0j5j0.825j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8)
drill the bolt out and use a wire brush and a screwdriver to remove the leftover shavings
weld it
all are much easier than it sounds

or screwable.
cut a slit in it with a dremel then use a flathead screw driver. I've done that with small screws around the fuel rail before and it worked.

This!!! PB blast the hell out of it for a couple of days, then try to pop it with vice grips. If it still wont come off, get a torch and heat around it.
wooooooooooo i got it. it actually wasnt rusty at all surprisingly. just a stubborn bitch.

So you deal with a lot of rusty nuts? Go down to the hardware store and buy some acetone, a quart of Dexron Mercon and a refillable spray bottle. In the spray bottle mix the ATF and acetone in a 1:1 mixture.
Spray away and get your nuts loose!

Get the welding epoxy and put a nut on. Give it a day or two to properly cure.

Have you ever tried that seafoam stuff at pep boys? It's like $12 a can but it works very well and smells great.
