HKS Fan controller HELP

I bought an HKS Fan controller yesterday. No matter what I try, my fans won't come on. The unit it self turns on and displays my temp. Here is the way I have it hooked up and the settings.

I have a 30 amp relay (tried a brand new one and a bosch that I have laying around).

Pin 85 is going to the Green wire on the HKS controller (green= main fan output)
Pin 86 is going to the ignition.
Pin 87 is going to the power wire for the fans
Pin 30 is going to the battery

I tried running the fan ground straight to the blue wire on the HKS (Main fan ground) and I also tried grounding them separate.

On the unit, I have setting SE 2 (which should be for Nissan) and F1 which is HKS controls the fans.

By the way this is in an S14 with an RB25DET swap.

Nevermind, figured it out. Ground wire on the HKS had to go with the ground on the fan then ground them but together on the chassis.
