Ok we'll I got an s13 with sr20 It has walbro 255, upgraded turbo manifold , upgraded intake manifold , 3 inch piping from turbo back , it has stock t25 and my question is will I need to tune it or will it be safe to start it and just drive like that? I'm almost don't with project just need to finish wire harness. It has the stock ecu. And also if I do need to tune would an apexi safc 2 do the trick?

I would get a tune and dyno , if your thinking about it must have money for it , a tune and dyno not only will you feel safe to drive it but make it run a lot better

dont need a tune for those mods. you also have nothing worth using to tune it with. if you had a pfc or some type of programmable ecu get it tuned. if your going to 'tune' with a safc dont waste your money.

It would help but needs more if you don't plan on a tune look up the apexi power fc d-jetro for nissan s13 there a lot but will do the trick

Oh alright I was asking about the apexi safc2 because someone is selling me an almost new on with nothing missing for 190. Is that a good price?

you aren't really adding anything that would call for more fuel... theyre all bolt on mods, and all your sensors should do their job and adjust accordingly.. Yur car will run and run fine more than likely, but like before stated, a tune will just perfect things. I personally will never run an FMU, and I haven't gone boosted yet... simply because the majority of what ive rad on the is that your car will never run as well as it could/should If you want to tune, id just get your ecu reflashed. Or get a standalone so you don't need to reflash it. As you see, im still only a leaky injector <<<, and 18 years old at that, but am rather knowledgeable and wanted to add my .02 cents since not many people are helping out. Im also interested to see what others have to say about my advice....

i had the same mods awhile back with no tune. afr's were fine normal driving , but at wide open throttle they were really lean. i suggest at least a rom tune. i bought injectors and then got a tune... golden.

Dam I knew that I can't believe myself lmao thanks tho. Oh alright cuz this is going to be my daily / drift car so it might have problems at full throttle? Would you say that's a big problem?

I honestly don't think you will have any problems.. this is merely a suggestion, but you could probably get a fpr (fuel pressure regulator) to help up top... but get a wideband with afr gauge and just drive it.. It will be good enough to atleast take it on a couple pulls and see where the afr's are at. And you can always drive off of boost....

Why the fuck would you need a tune at stock boost T25?!?! You can put in every damn bolt on in the world on the car and still not need a tune. There's a reason they're called "bolt ons", you dont have to mess with anything else in the car.

Dayum man relax u don't have to come all strong lol.

You'll be fine man. There's 1000000 other 240s with the same bolt ons and no tune. Maybe get a wideband and boost gauge just to monitor everything if you want reassurance
