I am looking to sell or trade my CA18det swapped 1990 Miata...154,xxx miles

Motor is CA18DET with an S15 T28 turbo tuned with VI-pec. (260Whp est. dyno sheet soon
has full hard piped front mount intercooler, Greddy Type R real blow off valve, has 440 cc injectors, variable intake cam gear, 2.5" exhaust
double size radiator with dual fans

Suspension is KYB GR-2s with custom inverted tophats (car is very low but still have good travel with the tophats) racingbeat front sway bar with adjustable end links

Wheels are custom Work vs xx 15x8 front 15x9 rear with 225-45-zr15 Hankook ventus R-s3 race compound tires ( over $3000)

It also has a Hard top and a bolt in Autopower roll bar and an authentic Garage Very front lip JDM marker lights and a ton of other stuff...please call me with questions and I will fill you in

I'll see what I can find.....I planned on having the car gone over again by UP Garage for the new owner .(retuned depending on what state or area it will be going to) its currently driven about 3 days a week with no issues

think about it this way

you buy it, sell the wheels for over 2k then sell the hardtop for 1k....that leaves you with a very fast miata with factory turboed motor for under $6000....thats not over priced


so why pay $4000-$5500 for stock when you can spend a little more for a one off Miata or leave it the way it sits for a clean crazy miata

Anyone that thinks this is over priced has never tried to put a Nissan motor in a moats. Friend of mine did the swap that was featured on speedhunters awhile back and it wasn't the easiest.

Do you have any idea of what it takes to swap a non-miata engine into a miata ? It's retarded. It's not like swapping anything into a 240sx. You have to build a transmission cross member that bolts to the frame rails, that you also have to build. Then you have to build a mount for the diff because Mazda used something called a power plant frame that supported the diff and trans together.


OR you can spend $1700 on a swap kit that is just mounting hardware.

Yeah it's a $2000 miata, with $1000 hard top, with $3500 coilovers, $3000 wheels, $2000 engine, $2000 for the mounting kit

$8,700 isn't bad, $10k with Ohlins is a little much though. If I was looking for something like this I'd offer $9k.
