q45 upgrade, difference in pads 90-93 94-95?

I upgraded my brakes to q45's but I have no idea what year they are. I have to change out my pads and porterfield sells two different brake pad models for years 90-96. ap486 for 90-93 and ap587 for 94-96.

is there a visual clue on the calipers so i can figure out what year they were from?

1 - remove old brake pad
2 - take said brake pad using mommys or daddys car to the auto store and compare
3 - purchase the pad after comparison and install it

ok so porterfield told me the only difference is the wear sensor on the later models. Hope this helps SOMEONE.

i have a set of front brakes from a 94 q45 and i guess i should remove a old pad and bring it here to my work and see which one it is. I work at a auto parts/auto paint/auto body parts warehouse distribution center so i should have something here that will work.
