I have a 1995 S14 that I bought a new VSS for because I thought that was my issue, but with the new VSS in the speedo still doesn't work...unless its 90+ degrees outside and ive left the car sitting with the windows up for about 2hrs..then it works?..but only when its really hot..just crazy..if someone else has had this issue or knows how to fix it please let me know

might be the gauge it self. do you have another cluster or one you can borrow to plug in and check it out?

I don't,but i'll try that...or i'll pull my cluster and try to figure a way to test it out

Something else I forgot to mention..when I get to 60mph(im guessing) it shoots up past 80mph and stays there once im on the highway on days that I don't let the car heat up inside, but at normal road speeds it just sits on the zero

Sounds like you have connection issues. Pull all the plugs apart and clean them. Add some dielectric grease as well to keep moisture out. Spin the VSS with a drill and a multimeter hooked up to make sure you're getting good voltage output as well.
