well im on my way home from work, and im at a light, its an eclipse... couldnt tell what kind, 2nd gen, well he's lined up straight with me and he revs discretely... i just act normal, wasnt too interested in a race sinc ei was low on gas and late... then he does it again, i rev back a little to like 2500 rpm... then he revs again... so im like alright whatever... light turns green, we both go off normal, both in first gear rolling side by side, and i know i could take him so i just punch it, i fly past him. Then in my rearview i see some lights switch lanes quick, and pullin hard, so now im really gassing it. the car is still pulling slowly up until 3rd gear where he gets up to my pass. door and i pull on him some, now hes at my rear bumper... i hear something resembling a supercharger...so im like wth is that?go into 4th and he pulls a little... then we both let off... he comes up next to me, then speeds up a little, i notice its a mustang so im thinking shit i thought i would be faster than a GT...but then i take a closer look and the bumper says Cobra.. im left breathless... i speed up next to him at about 5300 rpm in 2nd, we both gun it and he gets a little jump, i pull some almost even, thena car is coming up so we both let off... he takes the next turn off...
by this point i was like holy fuckshit i couldnt believe i held up w/ a Cobra... and this is while im at 9-10 psi...
i bet i surprised him b/c he probably thought "im gonna fly by these two imports" then he realized he couldnt pull on me... i was so damn happy and had to share!
