wow we are really losing control this saturday morning folks...
jesus christ how could one assume a RHD jdm S14 rack would fit a LHD usdm 240.. If you are doing a RHD conversion yes it would fit.

sorry. I was not aware of that. I live in another part of the world..we have about 10 nissan s14's left in my country..
I guess my s14 is Euro spec. In my country it's called 200sx s14 and it comes only with sr20det.
I have some problems with "heavy" steering and after some trial and error I'm guessing it's the steering rack.
I have serious trouble finding parts and I came across 240sx s14 steering rack in ebay. We're both LHD but as I said, mine is the sr20det version.
So my question is will the 240sx steering rack compatible with my car?
Thanks and sorry for the stupid question in the beginning of the thread.

well, either sr20det or ka24de doesn't matter. The rack is the same as long as it's the same as your car; LHD or RHD.
You could also order the parts needed to rebuild it only, maybe that would be easier for you if shipping a whole rack is expensive for you.

But from what I've read, rebuilding steering racks aint exactly something some joe schmoe could do without some specialized tools.
