I managed to get my hands on both of these at the same time.
One I paid for the other was given to me free.
the SARD boost controller looks beefy as hell but is a gauge type 60mm with a fatty dual solenoid unit.
We all know what the project B can do.
My car has stock internal redtop with s14 T28.
Which one would you run?

Profec B, hands down. It's simple, reliable and effective.

thats the way I'm leaning towards. i'm thinking about selling the SARD trigger to guys that need the precision of the beefy dual solenoid SARD unit at higher boost.
Based on what I'm reading about the SARD unit, that thing is super accurate due to its design, I don't think i'll need that for what I plan on running.

I have not used to SARD unit, but i've owned the profec b for maybe 5 or 6 years on my stock redtop. It's not really THAT simple, but once you get the hang of it you will love it. It is effective and reliable, i have never had an issue with it. Most people disagree with it because of the gain, set and all that settings instead of the "just adjust to the amount of boost you want" type controllers. But once you get the hang of it you'll love it, with the proper settings you'll spool will improve and so will boost stability (As in no boost creep/spike/drop). Also the warning feature that drops the boost has saved my engine a few times.
Just my opinion in case anyone reading this wanted some info on the profec b (Even though as you said, we all know what it can do.)

^^If you are referring to the Profec B Spec II then yea, there's a bit more functionality; but it's very simple.
The oldschool Profec B has 3 knobs and no LCD screen- as simple as it gets. I had a Profec B in my GT-R and the B Spec II in my 180SX and now my 240SX- love them both- but if I knew then what I know now; I NEVER would have gotten rid of the Profec B.

I'm actually thinking of selling my profect B.
Just found out through reading that the SARD unit stores two boost settings and scramble at the push of a button.
It'll be a pain in the ass to mount the 60mm gauge but the features might make it all worth it in the end.

If it's the oldschool Profec B and you decide to sell it, please PM me with the price before putting it on the market.
