Hello Everybody, I'm a proud S14 owner and I'm happy to join this forum :)

When I purchased my car no keyless remotes came with it. I called Nissan with my VIN and they told be it came with factory keyless entry, so I purchased a FOB from the dealer.

I found out how to install the remote from your forum and the remote unlocks and locks fine but the panic button don't work, the horn don't beep when pressing the lock and unlock button, and my lights will flash only when locking the doors.

Also my horn do work.

Come somebody help please?

Thanks :)

Check fuse for alarm horn. Is it there?

This may seem like a dumb question, but where is this fuse located? I can find it :/

Thanks

It has two. One under hood next to battery and the other in driver kick panel.

Hello, thanks for the replies.

I'm missing the fuse diagrams for my 1995 240sx so I searched online for pictures. I found the horn fuse under the hood and it was ok and I couldn't find the horn fuse under the dash, so I pulled every fuse to make sure they were ok and they were.

It could be that the horn for the alarm is bad or removed. I do car audio and alarms for a living and some car that have just keyless with no alarm just lock doors with no sounds. I can't remember if the 240 is set up that way but other Nissan are. Some only honk if hit lock button twice

I checked the alarm horn and it is plugged in. I tried making sure the hood sensor and doors were closed properly and then pressing the lock button, still nothing. I tried pressing the button multiple times and I hear nothing, only the clicking sound of a relay or something.

Just give up on it and either deal with no alarm horn or have a real alarm installed

Remove the alarm horn from the vehicle. Test it by running 12 volts to it. Take two wires - One wire for power, the second for ground and connect it to the horn. If your horn blares when you apply 12 volts to it, then you know your alarm horn works. If it doesn't, then the alarm horn is bad....replace it.

If the alarm horn IS good, but you are NOT getting power to the horn, you will need a multi-meter / voltmeter & continuity tester to make sure you are getting 12 volts down the power line for the horn when the alarm is activited and that the ground wire is properly grounded. If you are not, you probably have a short in one of the wires. You'll have to trace the line & figure out where the problem is. You'll have to know a little something about fixing electrical car wiring circuits to figure out where the problem is. A FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL, (FSM) helps....use the SEARCH function here on Zilvia to download one for your model year car.

Hope this helps...
