Recently lowered the car and it started rubbing on the electrical harness on the drivers side fender.. which caused some wires to rip which caused a short on my horn.. I was wondering if that short couldve caused my headlight relay to go bad due to the fact that the horn wires and headlight wires were touching the whole time..? I wrapped up the wires with electrical tape to stop them from touching..

Corner lights work, turn signals work, license plate light work, and brake light works.. everything pretty much besides the headlights and high beam.

Can the relay go out because of that short from wire to wire..? Or would it be just a break in the headlight wires that i need to re-wire?

-Thanks

So let me get this straight, you tore through wires and instead of splicing them back together you just put electrical tape on them? Of course you aren't going to have any headlights if you didn't repair the wires man. You also need to check your fuses.

Common sense seems to have been bred out of people these days...

The wires were pretty much intact still thats why I used electrical tape to cover them back up... I asked if the shortage between the wires would cause the relay to blow or.. headlight fuse (which I should check) so either the connection is bad still that I have to splice them or the relay/fuse blew... I have common sense to splice them back if they were ripped apart...

^to answer your question, yes, the relay/contacts could have fried.
Check fuses first. Then test your relay with a meter or swap them with a known good relay.
