I have a white 1995 240sx S14 zenki , base model (4 lug, no sunroof, power windows+locks), 5 speed swap , clean title , KA24DE . Smogged and registered til next year.
Goods:
-Megan racing headers
-Focuz Motorsports Exhaust
-KYB AGX adjustable shocks
-Eibach sportline lowering springs
-Rear overfenders (30 mm I believe)?
-Keyless entry w/ viper alarm
-Rear window spoiler
-HIDs
-Random yellow foglights (glass shattered on one but still functional)
I'm going to describe the car as best as I can so there are no surprises
Bads:
-Cracked dash
-exhaust leak at cat
-exhaust missing some hangers so it sways a bit when turning
-odometer and speedometer not working
-driver's side window doesn't roll down it needs a new motor
-rattle can paint is starting to crack and peel in a few spots
-CEL on due to 5 speed swap/hollow cat
-floor carpet and trunk is stripped
-no radio
-a/c could use a recharge
Random things to note:
-starter takes a second to engage but still starts up every single time (probably just loose or dirt has accumulated)
-trunk lever doesn't work but the key will open it up
-gas cap door lever doesn't work so I just use a key to push it open
-there's a little trick you have to do to close the hood properly that involves pushing the latch in before you close it.. If you come check out the car ill show you what I mean it's really easy
-theres no bracket that holds the shifter down so it comes off if you pull it up.. Shouldn't be a problem if you just don't pull on the thing, I don't see why you would pull it anyway
Anyway a little more background on the car, I bought it last year around this time, I haven't upgraded anything from when I bought it. It has never given me problems while driving. It's my daily driver that I used to commute 30 minutes to and back from school several times a week. I just don't have the time or money at the moment to repair all the exhaust problems it has, being a full time student and all.
Another important thing to note. The previous owner claimed that a new engine with 90k miles was swapped in, but was unable to give me any paperwork.
The odometer has stopped at 134k miles. Since I purchased the car I have driven it probably 1000 miles more or less
I'm not in a rush to sell at all but I'd like to sell/trade the car before I move to a new house in a month or so.
I'll take some pics sometime soon.
