View Full Version : NGK Iridium Spark Plugs

Which one is the Iridium that is suggested to put into KA24DE? I went to the store and found these two:

NGK Iridium (IFR4E-11) and NGK Iridium IX (BKR5EIX-11)

Just trying to find out which one I should get

why do you want iridium? its like $13 each or some outrageous price. just go copper. i have and so have many other people. just a suggestion.

the one you should use are the 2271, i dont know the NGK code, but thats the stocking #.

(3764) '91-'98 DOHC Nissan KADE Motors – BKR6EIX-11 - $5.40/plug (4 required per car)

NGK stock :

(3902) '89-'90 Nissan 240SX 12 valve motor - ZFR5E-11 - $2.50 each plug (4 required per car)

(2762) '91-'98 Nissan 240SX 16 valve motor - BKR6E-11 - $1.80 each plug ( 4 required per car)

oh iite, just that all i hear is iridium this iridium that...i dont think kragen had coppers but i'll double check thanx

Are you turbo or NA? BKR5EIX-11 is the correct one for stock heat range. If you are going turbo I would not use iridium. NA maybe but doesnt really seem worth it.

yeah n/a, that was my guess too tho, not those IX's or whatever theyre labeled as...any other opinions?

i did a plug change not long ago... copper works great....

I like iridium cause it killed all the stupid dinosaurs.
