ok i found this site and it looks asthough the prices are just awesome. kinda like un-believe-able>>>!?!? said its like 1100$ for a redtop and shipping is like 350$. so all in all its like 1450 for a complete motor and shipped to wherever in the US. just wondering if anyone has ordered a motor from here and or has heard anything about them. PROS and CONS would be great thx alot

I had a decent experience with osaka. fast shipping. the actual price for a complete redtop with all of the necessary extras was i think $1900 plus shipping. you will have to email them to make sure that's correct. tell them assholes to be careful wrapping the motor, so they don't break the fuel injectors.

My Osaka engine dynoed at 307 whp... but then again, I would never deal with them if I couldn't go on site and bash their skulls open if they fucked me...

I wouldn't deal with them if I could not check the engine first.

i had a bad experience with osaka on a honda b-series swap. won't ever use them again.

but as the guy said above. i hear that if you go there to pick it up you get a good swap.

i have had two experiences with osaka, and both were good ones. my first time with them i purchased a 7mgte for my mk3 supra. the compression was good and the engine was complete, with zero shaft play on the turbo. my second experience with them was with a sr20det redtop. they were selling the motorset with tranny and ecu (no maf or ignitor) for 1700. it came to 1900 shipped to my door. here is the cool part... the engine turned out to be a blacktop in PERFECT shape. compression numbers are perfect, there were no oil leaks and the turbo was good. shipping was fast and the i couldn't be happier with the motor. i swear it has like 20000 miles on it, no more. the only problem with the motor was a drop of salt water had gotten into the cas and dried up on a couple slots. took forever to diagnose, but when i finally figured it out and cleaned it. it ran like a dream.

if you do go with them make sure you call once for an inquiry, and then order ur second time calling. ask them questions like you know what you want. ask them about compression numbers, and tell them to pick out a nice one for you. if you become personable with the owner there, he will treat you right. also tell them that you have a bunch of friends that ordered from them, and that they all got screwed with bad engines. they do want to fix their bad rep and if you seem like someone that has connections, then they will use you as a rep booster, and maybe even send you a blacktop for the price of a redtop!!! :p

I recently dealt with them once again.. We bought a complete MK3 Supra 1JZ front clip... came with coilovers, PowerFC, 3" downpipe, Intake, etc... Only paid 2300$CDN, started at first crank and has perfect compression... Gotta love to hate them. ;)

yea dont buy shit from them i ordered na rb from jazzproparts (another scum dealer) and they sent me a motor from osaka ( I got the receipt and it said osaka) well I got the motor and it was wrong motor and transmission from what I ordered, but thats not all. The engine wouldn't even crank, the turbos were stuck all the oil lines were bent or broken, there was no oil cooler and when I opened the valve cover garnish there was rust around all the spark plugs. they also didnt give me back my full refund. o yea and i asked about the osaka thing and the owner of jazz por parks is the owner of osakas brother thats why i got a motor from them.

osaka sent me a s14 front clip with 4 bad fuel injectors and the head was covered in oil that turned into tar. there was scoring along the cams and the bearings were destroyed. when i called to see what they could do about it, they said they could send me a long block for $1500. what should i do? any lawyers on zilvia?

get the longblack, work on the one you have or sell it.

Osaka? More like Osucka.
We were wondering why this S14 motor wouldn't start and why the oil wasn't registering on the dipstick when you poured it in the head. The injectors didn't work and we think someone poured asphalt in before shipping it from japan. And the turbo is seized.

Ive heard some good and a lot of bad things about them. I think you should keep shoping around. Theyre are alot of other companies out there that offer real good prices and provide real good customer based service.
