Just got off the phone with my brother. I could have me a COMPLETE S14 SR20 shipped to me for $700-$800. I was just wondering if any of you VA guys know of any shops that are good at installs. Va Beach area. Prolly wont be done for another 6 - 12 months but still. Better now than later.

woweee...similar deal w/ me. i live in norfolk, va. i'm around the chesapeake and va beach area alot though. Early today i spoke to a shop that strictly does jdm engine importing from japan. they stock all popular jdm engines. theyve been down the street from my parents house for over 10 years.... thing is they only deal with business', so i contacted a friend that works at a local garage around here, and his boss said it woudld be cool. i can get the engine, on the crate -ecu and has a cut harness, but comes with a 12 month warranty and 60 day engine startup policy. sounds great. very reputable.

heres the thing. i work 40-70 hours a week, depending on times of fiscal navy year. no time (OR experience for that matter) to do the swap. i need to find someone locally to do the swap.

any help would be awesome, icky who knows maybe we could find someone to work on both of our swaps? let me know if you can get any info and ill do the same

jgy are good guys, I've been down there, they run a good shop.
they will work on your engine no prob, they are working on my friends if we ever take it down there, just to finish the wiring that he fucked up.
I'd advise you to get someone that knows what they are doing to do the wiring. if like my friend, you don't wait for someone (me in this case) to get back from a trip he is on, and you take garden shears and cut off both fuseboxes and harnesses, you will be fucked.
