who is zerk, and whats the difference between these and the tiens? also what brand are they? i might just buy the tiens... just wondering

zerk is a type of fitting for lubrication purposes its like a little nipple that allows you to lubricate the rod end. These are Drifting Performance Sportlines. Difference between these and Tein? Not much if any except these are a lot more affordable. They are going on all my cars.

the tension rod has to be manufactured with the zerk fitting on it. if you look at the pic of the tension rod you will see the zerk fitting its the little nipple coming off of the housing of the spherical ball end.

These are steel . They have +4 -4 of caster adjustment.
Seriously if you drift or even hard touge then aluminum tension rods would fail. I have seen lots of people break the TC rod mounts due to hard drifting. Thats why Nismo sells the power brace. That same amount of power is being transmitted through your TC rods.
There is a warranty based on material workmanship. Any failures due to that and the particular rod will be replaced for free.I.E. if you break it at a drift event then it would be covered provided it broke due to stress. If you break the rod due to a accident i.e. running your car into a mountain side,wall,tree, other car,curb or off a cliff at high speed then its on you.

yes you can use the Nismo power brace with them and yes I can get you Teins but I am not the person who is doing the Tein group buy. Thats another vendor.

yes they will install them and lube them up and your set. or lube them up and install them. You will want to have your wheels aligned afterwards for proper caster adjustment depending on your suspension setup.
