Chicago: Sunda, June 13 240SX Meet

Day: Sunday, June 13
Time: Noon
Location: Miami Woods @ Oakton and Caldwell in Niles, IL. Use entrance on Caldwell.
Directions: 294 North, Dempster East Exit, Stay on Dempster for about 5-10 minutes, right on Waukegan, there will be a fork in the road, stay on the left side (Caldwell), then before the first light there will be a sign and entrance to Miami Woods. Turn Left into it.

Notes:
For those that live near the place, would someone be able to go there a bit early and claim the picnic tables in the first section. PM me, or post if you can and at what time you could. I just hate getting there and having to stand all day cuz some old people won't let us get any of the tables :)

BBQ Info:
If you for sure are coming and would like to help out with BBQ post and say what you can bring.

What we need:
1-2 Grills (depending on size and amount of people that show)
Some grillers
Meat (Hamburgers, Hot dogs, and if you really want you can bring whatever else)
Buns (Hamburger and hot dog buns)
Chips
Drinks
Plates, plastic utensils
Condiments (Ketchup, mustard, relish, cheese; lettuce, mayo, and pickles if you want to be all gourmet about it)
Etc (if you want to bring something not on the list be my guest, Sushi would be nice :lol: )

Everything but the etc. part needs to be brought. Add to the list if you plan on coming and if you plan on bringing something (need to get an idea of how much food and stuff to bring).

1. Kidynomite - One cooler full of drinks and ice (non-acoholic), Plates and Utensils.

3. Duffman - Chips

Oh, I am instead just listing who will be bringing stuff. There are a few others that I know are going, or I know I am dragging out :). I would expect around 30 cars.

linja - That would be great if you guys could come up, you'll have way more fun than the Nissan meet you came to last time :).

Add Matt4pl for one of the grills. Hopefully we can get one more, becuase he is only bringing a small one.

Yay, finally a day off and to make it better, A meet that I can go to!!! I havent been out much (workin to build my 2nd 240) and this will be very welcome. I volunteer to bring a lot of hot dogs. I'll keep an eye on this thread as much as I can. Hope to see a lot of you out there!!!

One of the future meets will probably be on a Saturday. The whole Sunday thing came from Irena (S13Grl) and Lourans (CAMPPAIN) who no longer live with us... We'll see what works better when we have the saturday meet later this year.

don't worry there should be plenty of people, I'll show up starving if that helps. Plus some of the people I know that are coming down are scavengers and eat like maniacs. (most people responded on clubfr, but the thread dissapeared)

Thanks to all who came, specially those that came from far. Too bad I never got a chance to talk to Linja and EvilS14, but the cars are looking good.

Lots of S14s and KA-Ts, very different than most meets, and almost all 240s/240 owners.
