Its time to let go of my pride and joy...selling my 1991 Nissan 240sx Coupe. I bought this car about 6 years ago as a bare shell and it has been sitting in a shop this entire time slowly getting rebuilt and put back together. It has not seen the streets ever since I've owned it!! It is NOT 100% complete, I will say it is extremely close to complete and needs very little to be finished and drivable. IT IS STILL A PROJECT CAR. This car has 70K original miles on the chassis!! Throughout the years and after locating numerous parts, this 240 was completely rebuilt and put back together from the ground up. Every single bolt on this car has been touched! Throughout the years I have been very meticulous and built this car paying very close attention to detail. I have done everything the right way and I don't cheap out on stuff and cut corners. Let me assure you this 240 is not like most you see....
I'll start with the exterior...all the body work has been professionally done but it has NOT been painted yet, IT IS CURRENTLY PRIMERED. This leaves you the choice to personalize it and paint it whatever color you choose. The windshield was removed for paint prep, IT IS NOT INSTALLED but it is sitting in place. Here's the exterior mod list:
-JDM S13 front end conversion.
-JDM R32 front grille
-JDM S13 GLASS triple beam projectors
-JDM S13 amber corner lights
-JDM S13 amber/clear turn signals
-JDM S13 power folding mirrors
-Origin REP body kit (full kit all 4 pieces)
-Seibon CF oem style hood.
-Trunk spoiler removed and holes were professionally filled
-Key hole on truck was removed and professionally filled.
-Antenna removed and hole was professionally filled.

The interior is very clean and was also fully put back together. All panels are in good condition and show no major wear. It looks very clean inside! Upon swapping in the SR20DET I had to replace the original digital cluster with a regular analog one. Here's the short and sweet mod list for the interior:
-4pt custom weld in roll cage. The bars are all tacked in place and WILL NEED FINAL WELDING.
-CLEAN S14 seats
-polished shift knob
-Autometer boost gauge
-Sound deadening removed from back seat area.
-Removed rear seats due to roll cage
-Battery relocated to trunk with 0 gauge wire
-Pioneer DEH-9700 head unit with ipod adapter and remote
-2 planet audio 6x9 speakers in individual boxes behind each seat

Now for the engine bay. . . I spent a lot of time in this area and paid even closer attention to detail making sure everything came out as clean as possible. Everything possible such as wiring, fuse boxes, fuel and vacuum lines was relocated or tucked. The engine bay is really clean and nice! The car starts right up and sounds great and healthy with good compression. It appears to have a bit of a lopey/rough idle. At this point it is all up and running so it cant be anything major but i am not sure what is the cause of it. Im sure it is something simple like the timing or cam angle sensor but I am not sure.. Here is the mod list:
-S13 SR20DET black top complete swap.
-Freddy intake manifold
-Large front mount intercooler
-Polished intercooler piping
-Blitz blow off valve
-Aluminum pulleys
-SS oil feed line
-Greddy aluminum radiator
-Mishimoto electric fans with external switch
-Greddy catch can
-3" Panda Garage downpipe
-Dual N1 style exhaust.
-ACT stage 4 clutch (NEEDS BREAK IN, brand new only driven <1 mile)
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Wiring Specialties lower harness
-Custom tucked upper (engine) harness
-Custom tucked body harness with relocated fuse boxs
-Custom re-routed fuel lines and vacuum lines
-Custom relocated power steering reservoir
-Custom pearl white valve cover with rainbow flakes.
-Custom painted engine bay (Burnt Orange)
-Welded rear diff
-New OEM Nissan: front main seal, rear main seal, upper oil pan gasket, lower oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, flywheel bolts, and rear transmission seal.
-New clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
-New OEM Nissan o2 sensor
***THE WIRING IS COMPLETELY TUCKED (I don't have a recent pic of it, only in progress which is what I posted)
Im sure im forgetting some things... but I think that is most of it..

The suspension has been left untouched with the exception of ISIS coil overs with camber plates
The brakes were also left untouched and are original. Perfect if you're planning to do a 5-lug conv.
The wheels are 18" staggered XXR 502 silver with polished lips. I forgot the offset but its really clean and flush. The tires have lots of life left!

I have tried to provide as much information as possible and I am truthful and honest with everything I sell. This is a great car that is so close to being done its not even funny. It was my pride and joy and I don't want to part with it but im moving and it will be much easier to sell than take it with me. My loss is your gain!
I AM BARELY ON THIS SITE SO PLEASE TEXT ME. I do work and go to school so texting usually gets a faster reply, but if you choose to call leave a msg.
Come and get it $6000

Can you post the VIN and your location? My buddy sold this car a while back: http://zilvia.net/f/cars-sale/375458-ft-fs-clean-1991-s13-coupe-silvia-front-suspension-aero-built-blacktop-sr.html

If this is the case, you haven't owned the car for 6 years. The original builder sold the car in 2011 to sa3reghatch after it developed rod knock, who in turn sold posted it on this forum, houston240sx, and craigslist shortly after. Here's a pic since the original pics in the link above expired:

The car that is the gold color is not the one i'm selling. You are correct, I did purchase that one from a guy in Killeen, tx. I removed the front end, wheels, and body kit, a few various other things and installed them on my 240 i'm selling now (the primered one). I have indeed owned that car for at least 6 years. Sorry for the confusion. The gold one was sold as a shell after I removed the mentioned parts. I only posted the picture of that car to show what it can look like being one solid color..

And yes you are correct, the gold 240 did have rod knock when I purchased it. The motor was junked and the car was sold as a bare shell to a guy in Houston. The gold car was mainly purchased for a parts car to finish my car, the primered one. Again, sorry for the confusion.

****FOR FURTHER CLARIFICAION****

Here you can see both cars....The gold one and the primered one. I WILL REPEAT THE GOLD ONE IS NOT THE ONE FOR SALE. THE PRIMERED ONE IS FOR SALE!! THE GOLD CAR WAS JUST A PARTS CAR FOR THE PRIMERED 240. AND YES I HAVE OWNED MY PRIMERED ONE FOR OVER 6 YEARS!
