This is one of the biggest if not THE SINGLE BIGGEST superhero combination of all time. I highly doubt they took the casting lightly. Ben probably has been working on his adaptation of Batman for a while and they probably put alot of time into his casting and auditions. I thought the issue with Man of Steel was copy write stuff, hence why they never said "super man, and Kryptonite" etc

I'm going to go on a limb and say that the world machine in MoS created some elements of Kryptonite. It's possible the government or even Lex Luthor got a hold of it while doing some exploration/investigations.


Also the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy has no tie to this universe. It all kicks off with Man of Steel.

During the fight Superman was still not 100% and Batman had the help of Kryptonite to beat Superman. Batman didn't knock him out, but he definitely left him bruised before staging his death in order to frame Superman.

The new trailer dropped and it's one of the best trailers I've ever seen. I am highly anticipating this movie. That awkward kid that's playing Lex Luthor is my only complaint at this point but maybe he will surprise.

yea that trailer was insane. i really hope Snyder doesn't mess it up somehow. i was also surprised with Eisenberg being chosen to play Lex but the direction their planning on going in has him fitting in quite well i think.

i also loved his comment at the end of the trailer, he's a history buff in the comics and it sounded like a nod to "The Redcoats are coming!" (maybe also a nod to the Superman Guard?). that actually kind of sold it for me, im excited to see him portray Lex faithfully. also i've said before Affleck could be an amazing Batman/Bruce Wayne while everyone was crying about him being chosen for the role...this trailer shows his potential

a decent chunk of my day has been spent watching and re-watching both of those trailers lol.

Yea Joel Schumacher has apologized profusely for that movie even atill to this day lol, it wasn't entirely Clooney's fault in my opinion, it was just a horrible movie all around - directing, acting, storyline etc. Get over it, happened in '97 lol. Also let's not forget Clooney didn't have anything award worthy pre Batman/Robin besides golden globe nominations for ER. Affleck has proven himself with Argo earning a bunch of awards for it and that was only 3 years ago

And we should be able to get over Dare Devil, i mean it was a mistake that's almost 13 years old and now the overall landscape for superhero movies has changed. Along with the clearer formulas that have been laid down as solid starting foundations for these types of flicks (ie. pitting superheroes against/with each other) i think we can look forward to something that will be really well done here.

Also DC and WB really can't afford to fail with BvS because this one movie is setting off so many other movies in motion - also which is why Chris Nolan had a small hand with the script writing

Okay, first get off Heaths dick. I know you didn't mention him but ever fanboy asshole out there keeps acting like he was the greatest thing ever. It was good, but everyone cried and moaned when they found out Ledger was going to be Mr. J.


Yes, Letto is going to be flashy, grilled, energetic and sadistic. This is a universe with Superman and Aquaman, it's straight comic book fantasy instead of trying to ground everything in reality. Think Arkham-series Joker. This Joker is a charming, handsome, manipulative socio-path, not a dirty anarchistic with a propensity for mayhem and a death wish.


I hope they don't fuck up either movie. Both look so much more promising then the formulaic PG Marvel crap.

I fear for the ending of Suicide Squad. My understanding is they are to be fighting Joker. I just hope it ends with Harley betraying the team and joining the Joker. However she/they do it should result in the members escaping into the four winds to be on going antagonists.

the actual character I do worry about long term is Bane. Tom Hardy was amazing and surpasses every Bane so far.

When I first read Leto was announced, I was actually pretty cool with it.
