Price dropped to $3000 if picked up in the next two weeks. Car is for track use only, buyer assumes responsibility for fixing(smogging/registering) it to drive on the street.

Not looking for trades, as I already have a car that I am buying as soon as this is sold.

Curious what's the maintenance on an E36 non M3 compared to an S13 or S14? Considering an E36 drift build....

I'd say your focus would be on the cooling system. When they go bad, they get expensive, so if you keep up with your maintenance you will be fine. Luckily in my case, the previous owner took care of the car. I started to notice small upgrades and new parts shortly after buying it. New belts, hoses, metal thermostat housings to replace the oem plastic, etc. These cars are a blast to drive though! It is also Euro compared to a 240, so you will see a slightly higher price in parts in some cases. It is also a straight six, unlike the 4 banger, so you've got two extra cylinders to buy parts for ;)
