Product Description
ISIS OE Replacement Starter for your Nissan SR20DET RWD S13/S14

Enjuku Racing is the first to bring you an actual replacement starter option for your SR20DET. No longer will you need to buy a new one from Nissan Japan for over $500. We have sourced brand new replacement starters for the Japanese engine. This is just like buying a replacement starter from the auto parts store, but specifically for the JDM SR20DET RWD S13/S14 engines.

These are NOT Remanufactured, theses are brand new OEM replacement starters.

If these are anything like the Mishimoto starters, which BTW this looks exactly like it, then they probably won't turn over my car....Yes, it tested good in the auto parts store, but not in my car, and they sent me another one which still did not work. It ended up being the solenoid...on both of them. I put an Autozone solenoid (Hitachi), at it worked great!

Just though I would share my experience.

I too have had my share of bad experience with these starters... went bad after two weeks..took it apart tk see what the issues were..there all junk parts inside..plastic pieces..I've taken pictures if you'd like proof.. you for sure get what you pay for..

I think in the last 4+ years we have sold well over 1000 of these and warrantied maybe 20. 2% is pretty good. $169 for a starter with a warranty over an OEM Nissan for $600 seems like a pretty good deal to me!

Oh, don't get me wrong, that is a heck of price for a brand new starter.

However, are these made by the same manufacturer as the Mishimoto ones?

I have a Mishimoto one, and it turns over my car great.... after of course I swapped out the solenoid.

The ISIS starter were released about a year before the Mishi on. No, they are not built by the same manufacturer, that i am aware of

thanks
