You use the hood to line up the headlights and set the headlights in to the hood. If there is not enough gap use shims on the hood to raise it slightly. I did the conversion and it turned out fine.

YOu read what you what you wrote it makes no damn sense. let me dumb myself down and try and decipher what you want. your doing a kouki conversion correct? your worried about a hood gap? did you get a complete conversion or are you a tool and just ordered the lights expecting to slap them on your zenki?

I read the damn title and it says to me "this kids a tool stab him in the neck and leave him for dead"
take your breaths and once again try and write a coherent sentence

listen up you dolts! :) That 'gap' could possibly be the result of a missing rubber seal placed alongside the outer edge of the hood. So, check to make sure you have it in place.

I read in this forum somewere a guy had a 2 in gap from his head lights to the hood, and im thinking i may have the same problem. I cant find the thread so I thought I should ask the experts. as for the rubber seal I got that already, but not the lights. so it may have been either the headlights to hood or the bumper cover to head lights. I forget which one.

the gap is cause youd be missing the hood seal. its # 19 on that diagram. just buy that and clip it onto the hood. it makes a nice seal between it and the headlights so air doesnt come gushing in. when i got a carbon hood for my car, i didn't have that seal..cause there were no holes for it. guess what? my hood flew off. :faint:

cause a tool like you would probably miss me standing in the road. I couldnt answer the question like candy did cause I dont have the energy to suffer fools such as yourself AND decipher ID 10 T speak too.

I did the conversion and I did not have any gap what so ever. All I know is that if your missing the hood seal a gap is noticable. Did you read my write-up yet?
